Eight artists in new gallery in Savonlinna
Kalhama&Piippo opens a temporary gallery in
Savonlinna 23rd June. The exhibition presents eight Finnish
and international artists working with
various media: Maria Chevska,
Marcus Eek,
Ville Löppönen,
Rauha Mäkilä,
Heli Rekula,
Anna Retulainen,
Paul Rimmington,
Antti Ruuhela.
- It’s important to create a
diverse and mind-challenging group exhibition, says artistic director Pilvi Kalhama.
Gallery is open to public from
23rd June until 8th August. The address is Olavinkatu 40, Savonlinna. The gallery is situated in the city center,
in the former Savonlinna Art Museum.
During the Savonlinna Opera Festival the exhibition is open till 7pm.
