Within Finnish contemporary art the legacy of pop art lives robustly. Artists, who are surrounded by visual material from advertisements to music videos to commodities, show that the boundaries between high and low forms of culture have collapsed and the question of art making is not about boundaries of high and low but rather about something else - in this exhibition - about the analysis of nationality and identity in spectacularized Western culture.
