HEISKA AND LEIDERSTAM IN 14th VILNIUS PAITING TRIENNIAL 18.6-15.8.2010
Hannaleena Heiska and Matts Leiderstam are among the artists invited to the Painting Triennial in Vilnius, at the Contemporary Art Centre (CAC). The triennial is organized for the 14th time in 2010 and it presents painters who exemplify the tension between tradition and newness and who articulate different attitudes towards the image, the gesture, time and subjectivity. The exhibition is curated by Evaldas Stankevcius, curator at the CAC, and Anders Kreuger, director of the Malmö Art Academy and curator at Lunds konsthall.
