Liisa Lounila in group exhibition Aletheia – Positions in Contemporary Photographies at Meilahti Art Museum
Liisa Lounila is one of the Finnish artitst in the group exhibition Aletheia – Positions in Contemporary Photographies at Meilahti Art Museum / Helsinki City Art Musuem. Alethia revisits and reexamines fundamental questions regarding photographic practices and the photographic medium – including the very possibility of a medium – and their roles and impact within contemporary culture. The exhibition is part of Helsinki Photography Festival 2009. It features work by 15 international artists and is curated by Jan-Erik Lundström, director of Bildmuseet and Elina Heikka, director of the Finnish Museum of Photography.
