Terike Haapoja Closed Circuit-Open Duration at Forum Box 10.10-2.11.2008
The exhibition Closed circuit – Open duration' is a gardenlike whole, which takes advantage of environmental research methods. The works presented in the exhibition deal in various ways with life-sustaining processes and with how technology is used to observe them. Through technology the viewer becomes part of the garden’s metabolism. The exhibition brings about the idea of living image and of eventness that tends to escape our observation. Also as part of Kiasma Theatre ’s ‘/theatre.now ’ event, the exhibition can be seen as a proposal on performativity.
