Heli Rekula in Due North - Photography Exhibition 10.8-27.9.2008
Heli Rekula participates in the group exhibition Due North - Photography Exhibition at the gallery of the Burren College of Arts in Ballyvaughan, Ireland. The exhibition brings together seven artists: Heli Rekula, Pertti Kekarainen, Johanna Lecklin, Lea ja Pekka Kantonen, Sami van Ingen from Finland and Jan Svenungsson from Sweden. They are connected by their conceptual use of photography and willingness to experiment with different mediums in photography. The exhibition, which features both photography and video, is organised in partnership by The Finnish Institute in London, Irish Arts Council, Burren College of Arts, Frame and The Finnish Academy of Fine Arts.
