Artists Jaanisoo and Mäkilä in Anttolahovi in the summer of 2008
Villu Jaanisoo is participating in this year’s summer exhibition at Anttolanhovi Manor house. The HoviArt exhibition of 2008 is called “Sixth Setting”. The curator, artist Kari Cavén, has invited six Finnish artists working with different media to the exhibition.
The exhibition is open 27.6. - 17.8.2008, Sun-Fri 11 am – 8 pm and Sat 11 am – 6 pm.

This summer the Art & Design Villas in Anttolanhovi are being completed. The villas on the shore of the lake Saimaa are a result of a competition for students of architecture. They combine Finnish design and art. Each villa has been assigned to a Finnish contemporary artist, whose artworks create a personal atmosphere. Rauha Mäkilä is one of the artists invited to the project.
