Smithy summer exhibition in Fiskars 11.5-28.9.2008
Robert Lucander’s and Anna Retulainens work can be seen in Fiskars at the Copper Smithy exhibition space this summer. The group exhibition Simple Life 2008 is the third of a series of extensive displays of Finnish art. Previously the exhibitions Unique 2002 and Labyrinth 2005 have been seen in Fiskars.
New technologies have made the world in all its complexity increasingly available to us. Or are we losing ourselves in abundance? How do we recognize things that are meaningful? How to find more than we know to seek?
Simple Life 2008 is an exhibition presenting the positions of artists regarding the phenomena of our times. They reflect, take stands, represent what our environment looks like today, and tell of different choices by individuals.
The exhibition is open 11.5. – 28.9.2008
